Okay, so I decided to seriously give

the thread a try. Upon further review, the thread is hilarious.

Joe Buck: Well, folks, its the top of the ninth and much to the Tigers' relief, Tim Lincecum is finally out of the game.

Tim McCarver: He was over 110 pitches which means that he had thrown the ball more than 110 times. Thats a lot of throwing for a young man, especially such a small young man.

Justin Verlander: Yes! While we may not have scored any runs, I stayed in the game longer than him!

Jim Leyland: Verlander, you're done too.

Justin Verlander: What? You have to be kidding!

Jim Leyland: I'm sorry, humor was invented three years after I was born so that's not possible.

Sheffield: The Triple-A BP has suffered a lot of setbacks lately.
