Words of Wisdom from Steve Phillips
Steve's baseball analysis has always been very much on par with Raul's defense. I'm sure he takes pride in spouting out gems such as this
• The Braves are anxious to get the A.J. Burnett deal resolved. In addition to adding a starter, they're also in the market for a left fielder. They've identified free agent Raul Ibanez as the best fit because he hits for power and plays solid defense. Pat Burrell and Bobby Abreu, who are also free agents, don't interest the Braves as much because their defense is suspect.

I've always used it
A second person plural is sorely lacking in ‘proper’ English

You is already second person plural
thou being the singular (thank you Hemingway). But of course there’s the difference between language and usage, so yeah. There are such phrases as ‘you lot’ and.. well just that. And I’m pretty sure it’s only used on the BBC.

Also,
Steve Phillips was the man responsible for declaring that the M’s were the team to beat in the AL last year thanks to the Bedard trade. He may or may not know much about baseball.
Can't wait for Ruskell to knock this one out of the park.
Imagine how happy Mets fans were when Phillips left their team.
Beyond the Boxscore // Calling BJ Upton lazy is lazy.
What, they would have liked to keep Scott Kazmir? But Victor Zambrano was so gritty!
Can't wait for Ruskell to knock this one out of the park.
That wasn't Phillips.
Phillips was already fired when that deal was made.
Tools Whore
Sign Bonds!
Yeah I realized that after I wrote it.
Too bad, it would really make me respect Phillips more. Who needs brains when you have guts?
Can't wait for Ruskell to knock this one out of the park.
This is both late and not worth a fanPost.
In the future, please use a fanShot instead.
