Dickey to Twins

R.A. Dickey agreed to a minor league contract with the twins, mlb.com reports. They don't say how much the contract is worth but they say it includes a spring training invite. So now Dickey is back with the twins and we are out the catcher that we trade to the twins to keep him. (the catcher was 21 year old Jair Fernandez.) Now Dickey and his 5.21 ERA are history to the Mariners.

I really liked Dickey last year. Even though he was a horrible, horrible pitcher when he started games, I always rooted for him. Good luck sir.

But losing both Dickey and Putz in the same offseason is really a lot to deal with. How do we go from two ridiculously named pitchers to zero so quickly? Will we ever be able to find a Butts or a Bastardo to take their places?
