PrintThis has come up in a few other places, but I think it deserves its own mention on the front page - thanks in part to the Phillies' generosity, the Mariners are set to have a high first round pick, a low first round pick, a compensatory sandwich, and a high second round pick in next year's amateur draft. Throw in another potential first round pick in the event that they don't sign Josh Fields and you're looking at a hell of a chance for the new front office to re-stock the minor league system in a God damn hurry.
