Angels Eyeing Draft Picks Galore

If they fail to sign any of this guys that adds up to a draft extravaganza. Eight picks in two rounds?

It kinds makes those two Raul picks seem insignificant. Hopefully the M's will at least make them count. I can't imagine the M's financing 8 high picks either to be honest.

Will be an interesting month or two that's for sure.

They’ll blow several of those draft picks signing new guys to replace them.

Or...

losing teams should rotate closers every single year for comp. picks and to elevate their status in trade. Sean Green ’09! (after pending J.J. trade).

Oliver of the Darren variety, why has thous forsaken common sense?

Dear Christ! the very prison walls
Suddenly seemed to reel,
And the sky above my head became
Like a casque of scorching steel;
And, though I was a soul in pain,
My pain I could not feel.

I only knew what haunted thought
Quickened his step, and why
He looked upon the garish day
With such a wistful eye;
The man had killed the thing he loved,
And so he had to die.

Yet each man kills the thing he loves,
By each let this be heard,
Some do it with a bitter look,
Some with a flattering word,
The coward does it with a kiss,
The brave man with a sword!
