Last minute Seattle meetup, tonight
I'm about to head out the door to head up to Seattle for a weekend of rock n roll debauchery - Supersuckers/Green River tonight, AC/DC tomorrow night. This brings up two things.
First, drinks. Tonight. Canterbury. 15th & Mercer. 6pm-ish. We'll probably be there from 6-9 or so then head to the Showbox Sodo for the Supersuckers - we have tix already but I don't think it's sold out if you want to attend. Which, if you like rock and roll, you should.
Second, AC/DC. I have an extra ticket. If you want it, let me know - it's not a giveaway, unfortunately, it's an $80 ticket. But it's AC/DC. Email me if you want it and we'll figure out the details.
I may also have a line on a spare Metallica ticket, but that's not a guarantee. Anyway. Hope to see you tonight.

We might make it to the Canterbury
There’s a lot going on today, but I’ll see what I can do.

Canterbury is on 15th isn't it?
I am going to try and be there. I feel like the crud may be hitting me, but hopefully I’m feeling better after acupuncture.

Yup, 15th
just noticed that one. I’ll call when I’m on the way up.

Just because nobody really has my contact info
if you go to the Canterbury, we’ll be sitting over on the fireplace side, and I’m wearing a black shirt and have short blond hair. I’ll be sitting with a guy with long red hair. Stop by and say howdy.

holy hell
Is this all original members of Green River? Is it a one-off?
Also, sheesh, 20 years of the Supersuckers. Damn. I feel old and stuff.
Sports and Bremertonians. Because we can.

They played SP20, and I think they're probably going to do other stuff like this
but I don’t think they’re really “getting the band back together” so to speak.

Yes, goddammit, they were
I was pretty amazed at how fantastic that show was. I don’t know where Angus gets all that energy.

He moved like it was Donnington in 1991. 18 song set, 2 hours of playing...there were only 3 or 4 that I felt were missing, but I was floored by the epicness of the show.

The only one that was missing that I really wanted
was “It’s A Long Way To The Top”. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. And we also got to revel in the glory of The World’s Most Misogynistic Cartoon that opened the show, so that was fun. Where were your seats?

Hmmm....
It’s a good thing there’s photos of LL’ers readily available. Otherwise, I could say something very un-nice based on this photo:
