Viciedo ----> White Sox
Cross one potential first round talent off the list of free agents. Viciedo is apparently headed to the White Sox where he can eat delicious ropa vieja, chicharones de pollo, maduros, tostones, congri, and maybe even some picadillo with Contreras and Alexei Ramirez. I was hoping one fat Cuban middle infielder could attract another.
Yes, I just listed random cuban food to help fill the 75 word requirement. Now I'm hungry for some Cuban food.

Me too.
Also, I’m sick of lost opportunities to get an awesome corner infielder in the system.

Damn it, damn it, damn it.
Kenny Williams, you are a strange person. Is the whole completely-ridiculous-trades thing just to throw people off track? Do you just get completely lucky with a decent amateur scout? What?

And you know what? Picadillo tacos are awesome.
Damn it!

Williams is a sandbagger who...
throws people off the scent by doing stupid things, then goes out and makes good deals occasionally. When he called up Arizona for Carlos Quentin, they probably thought “Well here the idiot who traded Carlos Lee for Scott Podsednik and Luis Vizcaino. Let’s fleece the moron.”
What a sneaky man that, Ken Williams.
Can't wait for Ruskell to knock this one out of the park.

I know opinions on the strength of the Cuban National Series vary, but
Viciedo hit about .340 with 14 Hrs in 2005 for Villa Clara. At the age of 16. He broke into the top league in the country at the age of 15.
It’s insane.

If this means we concentrate on Tazawa...
Then, I guess it would be okay. We need starting pitching, but Viciedo would have instantly been the top corner infielder in the system.

The ChiSox can have Yuni if they want him
if they’re gonna get on a Cuban kick and all.
But if he’s gonna stay, I want Yuni’s walk up music to be this Gibson Brothers song.

If we had jumped on it sooner
we might have traded Yuni for Swisher. *sigh

Um...
I’m a big Valbuena backer, but he really doesn’t have shortstop range. That’s not an infield to daydream about.

Yeah
If anything, the ChiSox would probably deal for Loafie if they were gonna trade for any infielder of ours at all. They’re probably playing Alexei Ramirez at SS, and Ozzie likes his Venezuelans.

Because I dislike the whitesox
I hope american excesses do to him what they did to our guy. May he go the way of Cabrera defensively and the way of Hafner offensively
