PrintSince the last thread lost steam sometime last week, I figure it is time to finalize this, and provide the concrete details to the masses in one convenient, easy-to-swallow OP.
What: Bowling!! Drinking!! Socializing!!
When: 7:30PM on Friday, 11/21
Where: Hillcrest Bowling Alley (click for directions)
Why: Why the hell not? Bowling is a great way to unwind after a long week, and this gives many of us a chance to meet
Bring anybody you'd like, sine I reserved us a pair of lanes which will comfortably allow for 10 people or so, and we can definitely add more if needed. The beer selection can be hit and miss, but it's a bowling alley so that's to be expected. They do, on occasion at least, have Mac and Jack on tap, as well as the many usual suspects. Anyhow, this is a great spot for everybody to pop in and provide a realistic head count, as well as ask any questions that may arise as we go along. Hope to see a bunch of you there!

Having worked in the area late nights before, it’s not the greatest, so you may want to take a little extra care with goodies in your car if you drive. Should still be fun, though. I haven’t bowled up at Hillcrest before.

Where in the area have you worked?
I’ve lived in the area my whole life, and been at the bowling alley many a late night without any real issues.

I worked at the Circle K on Sunset for a bit.
Maybe the creeps just went there instead of Hillcrest.

Much of it has to do with how it goes getting over this virus.

This is a busy time of the school year. If I feel on Friday like the evening can be spared in favor of fun over grading, I’ll be there.

If I go I’ll be heading there from Shoreline, but afterwards I need to head home towards Everett. Doesn’t sound like carpooling would work.

If you decide to drink enough to kill that cold, Everett isn't so far for me.
I think it’s only 15 minutes or so from where I’m at with lite traffic. Up to you.
Odds are looking better that I will attend,
although I’m up again at 12:30 with a coughing attack. I’ll probably have to leave from Everett though, since Jeanuts is working from home that day.

I only say that because RC doesn’t seem the type to let anything go to waste, plus it disposes the evidence.

How’d you get lanes on a Friday night (you can never get a lane on a Friday up north)?
How long do you have the lanes for?

Besides, I reserved far enough in advance. We can bowl for 2 hours, because at 9:30 they start to clear out for the rock n bowl thing

Even with my connections I can’t get a Friday night lane where I bowl, unless I want to wait until after 9:30.

If I wanted a single lane to get some practice in or try out some new gear, they’d hook me up. But I couldntt get multiple lanes reserved.
