He’s a good dude, though, from what I’ve heard. I just badly want a different direction in the player development than what we’ve had recently. It’s one thing to draft and evaluate and sign talent, it’s a whole ‘nother thing to get them to the big leagues and maximize their talent. I’m not doing analysis, but my best guess and intuition tell me that the M’s haven’t done a very good job at this.
