Guess who's back...?
I'm back!
Well, not yet exactly, but I'll be going back to Seattle for the long haul next Tuesday, 2/5. When I left on 1/15 for Charlotte, I thought I was never going to come back Seattle. :(
The circumstances behind my departure is best left for a prime time drama like Grey's Anatomy or something (another Seattle reference), as it is too emotional and to long to discuss here.
Regardless, I was in Charlotte for half the time and at Myrtle Beach the other half. I was desperately seeking employment here, then I started throwing resumes for jobs in Seattle just for the hell of it - and a few companies actually bit!
The last week in Seattle before I left was extremely depressing (just ask Brett)...but this is a brand new opportunity as I've bought some time the last 2 weeks here in the Carolinas. I also got to see family I haven't seen in a few years, which is totally cool. However, being in the south for the last 2 weeks has taught me something - Seattle is awesome compared to the dirty south. The south has NO good looking chicks, seriously, I really looked - all of them are fat, extra fat, morbidly obesed, pizza-faced, or just downright ugly...I always had this idea of the existence of the "southern belle." Well, I guess they all moved up north.
I'm soooooo happy right now!!! See you all soon!

Welcome back.
I had the same experience. I have family that lives in Texas, and I swear I saw more attractive women in the Phoenix airport than I did in all of Texas.

Austin doesn't count
Those are the hot Seattle Girls
I always figured
- They grew up in Seattle, but rich mommy and daddy have a summer home down there, so they got as far away from the rain as possible.
- They got into UW but didn't certify for their major after 2 years of classes, so they went to WSU, partied too much, flunked out, and finally moved down to Arizona where their rich mommy and daddy have a summer home.
You're forgetting an entire class
It always warms my heart..
There is a reason I decided to stay in Arizona after graduation after all - and it wasn't the weather.

The absolute jewels of the midwest
Not to start another beer thread but...
All the bars here only had Bud, Coors, Natural Ice, the the light varieties - and they were so proud of their low prices.
Let's just say I stuck to Jack while I was down here in Charlotte/Myrtle Beach.
Congrats on escaping the South, Bill!
BAKER IS BACK
Also, Vegas has the same crappy beer selection. Their idea of quality imports are Heineken and Newcastle.
It ain't no Sam Smiths

Got glocks for sale, red tops for sale, everything that you need believe me I'm gon' lace you. Just don't whatever you do Snitch cause you will get hit or pray I don't face you. Yeah."
Err... uh.. yeah. Welcome back.
Fat chicks need loving too
Welcome back Baker!!!!
With all due respect
This is, naturally, a matter of debate. Just my 2 cents.
Southern girls
Seattle girls are NOT good, but I wouldn't say they are the worst in teh country. I spent 4 years in DC at a school that was comprised of 80% girls from Maryland, PA, NY, MA, CT. Now those were some ugly girls. Seriously, from Maryland up it is cruel and unusual punishment. Thank God I am out of that place and in a much sweeter place!
