And Beltre....
Not $15m good, but really good anyways.

I do
Still, he would still fall under the "Vastly underperforming" his salary category, even if no one has much of a problem with that.

My Entire...
Almost every free agent is paid far more than their production would dictate. That's why it's so important to have young players who over-perform relative to their salary.

What is Beltre's line right now anyway?

.278/ .326 /.490
Gee, what a shock, a RHB at Safeco gets totally HOSED by his home park, and people think he's overpaid!

Like I Said
Although 11.5 I like much more - so assuming that's correct, as well as the common practice of overpaying above average players, I'll take back my statement for now.

He's not above average.

I like beltre
His contract was one of the bigger ones signed that offseason, the year before vlad signed a 5 year 70 mil contract and beltres was 5 year 64 mil so he got damn near vlad money. While he may be a overpaid a bit its not that bad in comparision to others like mike hampton, jd drew, and so on.
That being said im glad beltres on the team, his defense is great and his offense has been solid and consistent with the numbers from previous seasons minus the one huge year.

Oh, and if King Awesome...
And to boot:
AB's CAREER home SLG (Dodger Stadium and Safeco): .423
AB's career road SLG: .493
Basically, if AB was playing his games in Arlington, he'd probably be on his second or third MVP award by now.
