Yesterday I went to Belltown for my friend's birthday.  Saw Sammy Sosa hanging out in the VIP room at "Ambers" with a few guy friends and about 15 different blond women (Sammy, of course, being happily married with 4 kids - so I'm sure they were there for some other reason).  I got a cell phone picture but it's so blurry it's not worth sharing.  The rest of the night, everyone kept repeating "Sammy F*cking Sosa" (Censored since it's not GTE).

Ian Kinsler was supposedly there too, but Generic six-foot tall white dude is not exactly easy to locate in Belltown.

I also saw Kevin Durant hanging out outside a separate bar earlier in the night. At 19, let's go ahead and pretend that he wasn't there to drink.

It got me thinking about the other places I've seen athletes.  I saw the Sonic's Sene and Johan Petro outside Westlake mall on separate occasions.  Marcus Trufant was best friends with my manager when I worked at the mall during college, so he came in a few times.  I saw Bob Hill the day before he was fired, so that was sweet. Ray Allen, also, sat behind me at a Mexican Restaurant in Pacific place and spent the entire time talking to his friend (A WNBA athlete I don't know) about all the flaws with Luke Ridnour.
