Replacement for Jose Lopez?

Now we all know that Jose Lopez is not exactly a confidence inspiring player right now in the Mariners lineup and now news out of Cuba is that Alexei Ramirez is coming over to MLB
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3026151
It says he played second base but mainly shortstop and centerfield - if we can improve the second base side of the defense.. who knows? Something the front office could consider IMHO especially with how Lopez has been viewed lately.

IIRC there's not a lot of FA 2Bs

I'd rather they make a minor deal
Now Crabbe is not a .300 hitter, nor does he have a ton of pop in his bat, but wouldn't it be nice to have a middle infielder that consistently draws 50-70 walks per season? Since they have Ritchie Weeks I doubt it would cost much to try and work a deal.
Anyone that will help up the teams OBP sounds good to me.

I'd be fine with that too.
My brain might not be back to normal yet.

I remember seeing an in-depth
He was living in an apartment no bigger than mine, checking his e-mail at the public library and eating swanson's frozen dinners. He was making big-league money at that point. I have an irrational hatred for him.
He runs out walks. What a spaz.

Yeah
- He's not the biggest problem on this team right now. Not even close.
- The guy lost his brother in midseason and I cannot imagine that had zero impact on his focus and performance. How do we know he hasn't been on autopilot since?
