Jose Guillen is....
A little bitch. He talks crap about Adam Jones saying that this wasn't the minors. And the next two games he goes 0-8 with 6 Ks and makes an error that let some runs score. And he left the bases loaded. Adam played hard his first game. Guillen has played like SHIT. And you can't talk smack if you suck it that bad. True only two games. But that doesn't stop him from being a little bitch.

Dude, he wasn't talking smack
And for what it's worth, he came up to Jones after Jones arrived and told him that he was a part of the family now.
He has no problem with AJ, he was just worried that the move might hurt the team. In no way does that make him "a little bitch."
All of this unnecessary Guillen hatred
Guillen has by and large been one of the more productive offensive members of the club this year and frankly I wouldn't be surprised to find him signed to a multi-year extension, so get used to him!
yeah, wtf?
And it's not like he's been our third most productive bat or anything...
Sorta....
"I just hope they understand this isn't Triple-A,'' he told me. "This is the big leagues.''
"This is a totally different league,'' he continued. "I understand he's a good prospect and he's ready. But this team has been good. I just completely don't understand that move right there.''"
So he didn't really say anything bad, but... he pulled a reporter aside and told him how pissed off he was, and a reporter's gonna do what his juob is, and tell everyone, so in retrospect that was dumb. His comments just show how dumb he was anyways, as does the comment about who's helped the team more, because Adam Jones hasn't had a chance to help the team (besides one game, which he did help the team in his one chance). So a two game suckfest is probably karma, but 2 games is probably enough, here's to hoping he's back to being our 3rd best offensive player.
What was the point of those comments?
It boggles my mind that so many around here are satisfied with Guillen's play this year. His OBP is where it is because of a career high BB%, but he has contributed little else. He's not good on the base paths. He is well below average defensively. He's putting up a career high in K%. He is worthless against RH pitching. And it doesn't appear to be Safeco that's affecting his offense - he's slugging even worse on the road.
I'd be ecstatic to see Wlad in RF instead of him in '08.
