I'm looking for some extra people to play in my fantasy football league. We will have a live draft on 9/5.

Mythbusters disproved the toothbrush thing.

And I'd volunteer to do Fantasy Football, but I'm already in two regular leagues, plus a "pick 'em" league.

I wouldn't take Mythbusters too seriously.

It's a fun show and I'm sure they're right about a lot of stuff, but it's entertainment, not science.

Oh, and IIRC, they discovered there was poop on almost everything that was exposed to air including toothbrushes. In other words, we're probably inhaling poop all day and all night, but, you know what, who cares? It doesn't make us sick or anything. It's just one particular form of waste that we've assigned a nasty reputation to, and as Don Delilo said, "All waste defers to shit. All waste aspires to the condition of shit." ...because shit ain't too far from earth.

I know it's not laboratory science,

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the NFL. The only reason I know Joey Galloway is bad is because I recognize him as having played for the Seahwaks like four decades ago, meaning he must be pretty damn old by now.

well....

I think im gonna go for it, the drafts shouldnt take as long as a baseball draft and with everyone there actually picking it should go quicker since half or more of the people in a public league arent there drafting and take max time.

Okay

One of my friends is an ass and announced his going away party just this afternoon. Guess what time it's at?

I'm gonna have my laptop with me and try to do the draft, but if I don't make it, don't think I'm bailing or anything. I'll still be totally involved, even if an autodraft leaves me with scraps.

I did tell my draft board not to take any raiders. LOL.
