Getting four players from Atlanta for Tex.. Saltalamacchia, Andrus and two minor leaguers. That is quite the haul for him and I for one am just glad to see him not go to the Angels.

Ron Mahay also went from Texas to the Braves.

For the long haul?

probably not, he is really tall for a catcher and scouts say he tends to wear down rather noticeably as the season goes on. I since he is young and has made improvements he can stay behind the plate for at least 5 years before switching to first
