PI Party

Is anyone going to the Prospect Insider party tomorrow?

--useless fact:

In 1963, baseball pitcher Gaylord Perry said, "They'll put a man on the moon before I hit a home run." On July 20, 1969, a few hours after Apollo 11 landed on the moon carrying Neil Armstrong, Gaylord Perry hit his first home run.

Over/under on the time it takes Churchill to freakout on Edtrak or Willmore?

He banned Edtrack a few days ago.

Ten minutes.
And then for one of the party games, we play "Pin the tail on the Edtrack"

Followed by a Cujo/Edtrack Steel Cage Match.

Can't wait!

remember
bad spelling is a privilege not a right.

Use it, don't abuse it.

And I'm sure I spelled something wrong in the last 2 sentences.

Naw
I don't know Churchill nor his work all that well, so it wouldn't make too much sense.

BTW how lame is that law...
In Montana you don't have to be 21 to go to a bar.  When I came to WA for school I was shocked.  It's so dumb, it's just so bartenders can be lazy and not check for IDs it's ridiculous and keeps me from watching out of market sports.  Pisses me off.

And I'm wrong
That's embarassing.

It's like earlier today, I'm at work and this really attractive girl about my age looks up at me as I walk by and says "How are you"

I say "I'm wonderful, you?"

In her other hand is her cell phone.

That's also embarassing.

In her OTHER hand?
What was in her first hand, Corco?
Felix, you magnificent bastard.

Her other hand is a hook
That's Corco's kind of woman.

so, er
did lots more people show up eventually?  :)

by Deanna on Jul 29, 2007 2:04 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Nope
Not that I'm complaining. It was nicer having a small grouip rather than the entire upstairs being completely full of people struggling to hear Jason over the jukebox.

Another group had booked the room for later in the evening, so we headed outside to the patio around 6, and hung out for a couple hours more.
