Seriously, does he deserve to be anything more than a platoon DH with Vidro??

As soon as last year, he was a very productive bat, so I understand why the M's might try to get him going (see: Sexson, Richie, who was productive five years ago and is still getting his chance to rekindle the magic).

But his drop-off is so blaring, one has to wonder whether the guy is done.

Either way, I don't think it will hurt to get him off the field, get his legs rested, and then perhaps he'll hit better.

Because this is getting ridiculous.

I honestly have no problems saying things like I wish Raul was forced to watch his family get tortured before getting done in himself. I'm with George Carlin--you can joke about anything, nothing is off limits. Even Rape. Carlin proved that rape is funny--picture Porky Pig raping Elmer Fudd.

I tend to agree, and I'm not at all easily offended, never have been - but if you are a person that has been raped, I'd be inclined to think that you'd be slow to find the humor in it.

Wow

A little losing streak (totally should be expected guys! They lost 6 in a row pretty recently. This is a STREAKY team) and the humor gets pretty dark around here.

I thought M's fans prided themselves on being clever... unlike, say, Halo fans.

I'd enjoy the site more if it mentioned misogynistic rape/torture less and Family Guy/Simpsons references more.
