Felix pushed back

According to Hargrove on today's pre-game interview (it will air around 11:45 on the radio pre-game show) Felix has been pushed back to start on May 9th in Detroit.

So if you were in New York looking to catch the game, sorry to disappoint you and whatever you do, stay away from the May 5th game that features everyone's favorite Jeff Weaver.

At least they are erring on the side of caution. Hargrove stresses that the bullpen went fine, but throwing the changeup causes a little bit of a problem, but Felix says his arm was fine after the session.

NOOOOOO
Dammit dammit dammit.
I don't have MLBTV, and this would be a rare chance to see him pitch.

Is it really Weaver and not Baek?

Super
Just what the Yankees need.  A slump-buster...

Yes
Look on the bright side: another disaster outing from Weaver would probably cement his fate with the org.

I'm going to the Yankee games that weekend and I was hoping somehow Felix would end up pitching...

It's Weaverific!
There's something very exciting about seeing Weaver go back to Yankee stadium and give up about 10 earned in 3IP.  I realize it will cost the Mariners the game, but somehow it almost seems worth it.

Ew
The change causes a problem?  I don't want any problems with any pitches whatsoever.

That Blows
Now I get to watch Jeff Weaver give up 15 runs in HD instead of Felix.  Yay.

This would only be interesting to watch if
If Hargrove tells Weaver he has 100 pitches or 7 innings, but he will not be pulled otherwise. (Injury excluded)

What if "April Hot" Arod show up! Could we actually get a chance to see a player hit 8HRs in a single game?

Give me some sympathy!
I'm in NY Friday to Sunday comming from Europe. Could have been a once in a lifetime chance to see the King pitch, as I'm not expecting to be in the Seattle area anytime soon. Not gonna happen now.
Well, at least I haven't ordered tickets for the Saturday game. I sure won't now.
