MLB.tv national blackouts

Hey,

Anyone with mlb.tv know anything about the "national live blackouts" that mlb.tv has?  every few days or so they blackout games outside of my market area.  today they blacked out the boston, cubs, and mets games.  i can understand the cubbie blackout for me since they're in my market but the other two shouldn't be unavailable.  is this because they're on a national broadcast station or something?

Everything's blacked out before 7PM ET on Saturdays - Fox has exclusive rights.

Unless you can convince MLB you're outside the US
The easiest way to do that, of course, is the BE outside the US, in which case the nationwide blackouts don't happen.

The only M's games I can't watch online is when they're playing Toronto, but those games are all telivise up here anyway.

Hardly any Saturday afternoon games anymore
Day games not selected for telecast by Fox can't be televised locally, so teams almost always play those games on Saturday night in order to get them on their RSN or other local television.  Which is lousy for families with younger children, for whom a night game really isn't an option.  It's Sunday afternoon or nothing for those people.  When my dad took little Soaker to ballgames way back when, it was almost always on Saturday afternoon.
