Just How Bad Has Jeff Weaver Been?

We all know he's been terrible.  The worst pitcher in Mariner history.  But did you realize that the team has been outscored 54-13 in games Reefer Jaw starts?  That translates into a 1458 RA/351 RS differential, or a 9-153 Pythagorean record over the full season.  The scarier thing is that Ho has been almost as bad.

When Will it End?

Sometimes he only gives up 6 runs.
And sometimes we score more than 6 runs.  Those two are bound to coincide from time to time.

From Baseball Reference
Jeff Weaver is the only pitcher at any time ever in baseball to...
Pitch in 8 or less games with at least 6 decisions to have an ERA above 12.

He's sucked hard and sucked hard consistantly.
