Jeff Weaver was in Harry Potter?

Yeah, this freaked me out a bit. I never knew Jared Weaver was a shakespearean actor....

Chemical reduction, or smelting, is a form of extractive metallurgy. The main use of smelting is to produce a metal from its ore. This includes iron extraction (for the production of steel) from iron ore, and copper extraction and other base metals from their ores. It makes use of a chemical reducing agent, commonly a fuel that is a source of carbon such as coke, or in earlier times charcoal, to change the oxidation state of the metal ore. The carbon or carbon monoxide derived from it removes oxygen from the ore to leave the metal. The carbon is oxidised, producing carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. As most ores are impure, it is often necessary to use flux, such as limestone to remove the accompanying rock gangue as slag (also called scoria or cinder).

Hmmm....
I'm worried about myself.  I was more interested in the metallurgy than Weaver.  Oh well, there are worst things to love than chemistry right?  At least I don't love the Mariners...damn it.  This sucks.  Well at least I'm unique right.  I mean only about maybe 1% of the US population likes chemistry and probably only 0.01% of the US population likes the mariners so only 0.0001% of the US likes chemistry and the mariners.  That means I'm 1 in 300 by my calculations.  Hmm, it seems as if the other 299 all come here too. Strange.

The actor's name
is Kenneth Branagh. He does resemble Jeff Weaver. I noted that when I saw pics of Weaver's signing press conference.
More on Branagh here:

I feel bad for Branaugh....
Yeah, the resemblance was really weird to me. The fact that they made Branaugh's character was a flashy guy with no substance.... well, it amused me.

If you want to see a good Branagh movie
check out How to Kill Your Neighbor's Dog. Dark comedy at its finest.
That's a right kerfuffle!

I misread the title of this diary
When I saw the diary in the sidebar, my first read was "Jeff Weaver was a Heavy Potter", and I wondered why that topic merited a new diary.
