Pro Baseball Spirits 4 (PS3 trailer)

Talk about wow. Wow, and a woo for good measure. Pure atmosphere on a disc. Gotta love those celebration and dugout scenes.

On a side note, if Konami can make PS3 baseball look this good then I can't wait to see what they do with the next Pro Evolution Soccer :-). Not that I'll be able to afford a PS3 any time soon, mind, but hey.

So, er, 300 characters then...almost there...yes that should do it.

Eh

While there are a few companies who use bullshots and target renders there wasn't anything in that that looked unreasonable to me. It didn't look that far removed from MLB2k7 which is out now on 360/PS3.

Oh and as for PES, well if you want the PS3 version you'll be waiting awhile. I'm pretty sure that the series is exclusive to 360 this year, but the whole wording on that has always been hazy.

That's supposed to be Tomoya Yagi?

I actually have Pro Yakyu Spirits 2, the 2005 edition (it was only like $10 in a used videogame store when I was in Japan last year). It's ridiculously pretty and that was just on the PS2.

I pretty much don't buy games until they're really cheap though, so...

(nevermind, found the PL screenshot page for PS3. Some of these are great, some of them look horrible (Kazumi Saitoh in particular). The ones of Yagi, Nishioka, Zuleta, Masato Yoshii, and Yasuhiro Ichiba are really great. And the one of Masahiro Tanaka is surprisingly... well... he looks just as grumpy as he did when he got knocked out of the Hawks-Eagles game in the second inning last night :)

oooh, and the Central League ones

Kawakami is dead on, so's Aoki, I love how they show Furuta playing, the Ogasawara PISSES ME OFF, Eishin Soyogo looks great, and Daisuke Miura looks funny.
