It looks like a 1 year contract for around 10 mil. This seems like alot of money but it is only 1 year. If he stays healthy he should solidify their bullpen, especially with Francisco Cordero leaving for greener pastures.

I like this signing. Gagne's a good bet to be as good as Cordero next year and the Brewers are paying less money and only have a one year commitment.

Gagne wasn't that great last year, and he's iinjury prone-- it seems like they're just signing a name. It's too much money, but that's ok since it's a 1 yr deal.

Gagne had around a 3.4 FIP last year

Not spectacular or anything, but solid enough and he'll probably improve heading back to the NL, especially the Central.

Great move Milwaukee. Cant possibly hurt them.

Not a multiyear deal. If he sucks, they wont have him again. If he does anything remotely good, they could try to resign him or let him go and get some draft picks. They need relief help, anyways...why not take a flier?

Fukudome to the MLB

"Kosuke Fukudome has decided to turn down the Yomiuri Giants' offer and will sign with an MLB team, the Nikkansports newspaper reported Sunday.

"Fukudome had previously indicated the Giants would be the only Japanese team he would consider playing for next season. The Padres and Cubs are the favorites to sign Fukudome, who could make up his mind within the next couple of days."
