When Shameless Plugs Attack
A little while back Aaron Shinsano, one of the authors of East Windup Chronicle (a blog that does a solid job of covering baseball in Asia), asked me if I wanted to e-pen a review piece of Ichiro's season. I did, on account of Ichiro totally rocks, and it just went up today. So check that out if you want to distract yourself from thinking about why we don't like the Mariners by reading why we do.

Ah, yeah, those guys.
They also don't really cover anything of Japanese baseball if it's not related to the MLB, so it's not all that interesting to me.
Uh oh

Deanna
It's funny, because I thought you hated us after you visited our site the second time...when we handed you your lunch in the comments section of our (non-MLB related) idea for a pan-Pacific baseball league.

I concur...
Seriously, KBO and CPBL need to be propped up by the nearest MLB-like entity, the NPB. Unfortunately, the Japanese are too nearsighted and racist for it to happen. The potential money in it would be insane.
But the Japanese have never been about profit, so the NPB will toil in low-profit margins and weak teams as the MLB sucks away the talent.

Check again.
I think it's kind of hard to hand someone their lunch when you don't actually have any clue what they're eating for lunch, though.
Either way, this isn't the time or place for it. I'll email you sometime if you want to settle this love-hate-whatever thing.
