How funny is this tidbit from Hickey's notebook yesterday...

"Putz has been a purveyor of pies all season -- shaving cream pies, that is.

When a rookie gets his first hit, when a player hits a game-winner, Putz isn't far behind, sneaking up behind the victim with a paper plate filled with shaving cream and striking, preferably when the player is in the middle of a TV interview.

Sunday, he got his just, foamy desserts -- sort of. As Putz was talking to reporters following the game, Chris Reitsma, in perhaps his last act as a Mariner, struck Putz with a pie and scooted out of the clubhouse, saying, "Finally, you get it back, big boy!"

But Reitsma was having control problems, and the pie hit Putz in the right shoulder. Putz grabbed the plate and smashed it into his own face to complete the job."
