Not surprising really.

Jay got his one vote, probably from a Seattle voter. Though I was a little surprised to see McGwire get THAT low of the vote. I figured at least 50%. 23% is a little shocking.

And despite Yankee fans obsession with a bad player, it makes my day to see Scott Brosious get absolutely nothing at all.

Congrats to Ripken and Gwynn, they certainly deserve it.

which idiot "sportswriters" didn't vote for Gwynn and Ripken. They should have their privileges stripped immediately.

It was from a writer who voted for noone... as a sort of protest vote regarding steroids and MLB.

Actually..

there were a few that didn't vote for either.

I think some usually don't vote for the obvious choices, since they think they will already get in. Some vote for that 3rd or 4th guy that almost make it.
