Miller, unsurprisingly, went #1. Lincecum goes 3rd The M's got Brandon Morrow in the first.

Complete list of who was taken by the Mariners in the mock draft:

P Brandon Morrow, Cal
P Adam Ottavino, Northeastern
P Wade Kapteyn, Illinois HS
P Chad Lee, Barton County CC
OF Shawn Scobee, Nevada

I don't know a lot about these guys but it looks a lot like what we'll do, go for pitching depth early. I know that Morrow is supposed to be good, but I haven't heard of the other 4.

Should've taken Scherzer or Hochevar if they were available...I assume Lincoln was also gone before the M's pick?

I guess I will have to keep an eye out for him when the draft goes down. Hopefully he pans out so I can say my school produced more then Carlos Pena...

that someone ahead of the Ms takes Morrow so that the Ms wont be able to. Then, hopefully they're smart enough not to reach for Bard and will just take the best avail among: Miller, Lincecum, Lincoln, Hoch.

I'm going to feel really empty if we take Morrow at 5.
