Around SBN: Has Kentucky Improved Since the Non-Conference Season?

Something you didn't know (sarcasim)

According to this (somewhat bad) calculation of players salaries based on thier production the Mariners are grossly overpaid.

Some quick notes

Most underpaid:
Jose Lopez

Most overpaid:
Richie Sexson

Looks like they are baseing it off of current
numbers.Which is a load of crap.

If anything, Richie has already earned part of his salary for what he did last year. But according to them he's worth $327,000.Yeah right.

Jose Lopez worth $14 million???

Soriano worth $8 million? No way I pay $8 mil for a reliever whos a non closer, no matter how good they are.

According to that site
Bloomquist deserves a big raise.

Beltre?
How is Beltre worth almost $2 million and Richie is a little over $300,000? Beltre has a 30 point improvement on his OBP and AVG, but he doesn't have as many RBI's or HR's.  Infact, the only stat that Beltre dominates Richie in is steals, and those can't be worth the the extra 1.7 million can they?

Don't bother me, I'm hustling.
