It looks like Carvajal has been traded to the Devil Rays for RHP Jose De La Cruz:

And through others I've talked to online is that Carvajal wasn't coming back.  Prospect status fading for Carvajal.

Well
This was all I could find on any current pitcher named Jose de la Cruz.  If this is the guy, he had a handful of decent outings in Rookie ball.

Also...
...(de la Cruz) finished with a 3.94 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 61 2/3 innings for low Single-A Southwest Michigan last season. He's not the prospect that Carvajal is, but he has upside as a reliever.

And as stated, Carvajal had attitude issues about his demotion that sunk his ship here.  He's Tampa's problem now.
