Why would anyone want to sign with the Royals? Must be the money! The Deal is reported to be 4 yr 45 mil. Talk about an overpriced offseason. Although, I personally think this is a better deal than the deal Juan Pierre received or even the one JD Drew received. Either way, its ridiculous

Try a 5 year deal for Meche
Look, dealing Soriano for Horacio Ramirez is stupid.
Giving Lilly and Meche 4 and 5 years with an average of $10 million or more is down right insanity.
Things could be sooooo much worse.
