Some other guy...
Meche?
I killed a 12 pack just to watch it die...

Some other guy...
The guy we could have had without giving up Soriano: John Thomson?

Fangraphs, Hardball Times.
Probably my favorite two websites on the planet.

Cheers
I'll check it out once this diary has a winner...

I just compiled them
with a calculator and the stats at baseball-reference.com

I don't trust fangraphs' numbers.

No, no, and no
freely available people. I don't mean sorta, or like, or as a euphemism for replacement level, I mean actually, freely available.

Dang
I was going to say Woods and looked up his career FIP at Fangraphs. It's higher than the 5.00 you qouted, 5.00 is the FIP for 2006, only, thanks to relief appearances with the Angels in 2005.

Did you include 2005 in your calculations?

Hot dog!
Anyone else want to run this place after I'm gone?

by Jeff on Dec 7, 2006 12:19 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Nope
I plan to be furious for the rest of the day, then sink into a state of depression later on, and finally wake up tomorrow completely indifferent to the Seattle Mariners.

At least I hope that's what happens.

Sure
But you know me, my blogs die young.

Sure.
Wait, what?
Marinerds - a different daily dose of baseblog.

by Deanna on Dec 7, 2006 4:19 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Sure
I'll run this blog like I run my company. I'll raid the pension fund, dump chemicals in the oceans and sell our best assets to the Japanese.

So do I still have to goto the Angels?
I tried signing up for HH and it wouldn't let me post at all (seriously)

So yeah
the Ms traded their best trading piece for an older, more injured Jake Woods. Rejoice!

Now now
At least Ramirez gets groundballs.

...

...

:sigh:

Whoa.
You changed your name. I'm not sure I'll be able to handle this.
