Batista $$$$ Over/Under

What do you think the terms of Batista's three year deal will be?

I will put it at 3 years, $25.5 million.

What do you think?

3 years, $24 million.
I don't think it'll be any more than the Royals offer...because if I were a pitcher, two offers being the same, I'd come to Seattle over Kansas.

Missouri, Actually.
And KC is a pretty sweet town. As a player, if I were looking at the two teams for the same money, I'd be taking KC. Easier traveling for road games, and they love you even when you suck. KC wins hands down. The M's are going to have to be over on this one. They realistically have nothing to offer that the Royals don't.

So yeah...Over.

Bretticus Wins!
The Times has announced the deal.

Jason Churchill also posted some information on the specifics

Looks like it is 3/24 with an option and buyout for the 4th year.

I am suprised that I am not pissed off about this.  I guess I am just numb to bad signings now.

Maybe the next over/under should be 75 wins?

Well....
KC is still in Missouri....But I did get owned on the rest of the deal. Way to go Bretticus.

All right!! What do I win?
Three years of meidocre pitching for the cost of a pretty good pitcher!?  This contest sucks!

Under
Willie Bloomquist and Mike Hargrove suck. Horacio Ramirez doesn't suck but is way worse than Soriano.

My guess...
Years, even, money, over.

3/30, unfortunately...

Iceberg, right ahead!

Sweet
I was hoping you'd say under.

I'm just praying here.
I have zero inside information on how much this thing costs.
