Foppert

Does anyone have any news on Jesse Foppert? I know that he's has several nagging injuries this year, but was sent on a rehab assignment on the 17th of July in A-ball and then was activated from the DL on the 24th (this may have been just so he could be traded, but it is almost a week prior to the deal). There is also an article on him up at ITP, but it's members only which I am not. My question is does anyone know when we will be seeing him pitch for Tacoma or else where in the system?

Foppert News

The M's are telling me that his neck is still stiff and they are taking it easy on him. He's likely to get a start on the next homestand, as long as his neck has improved.

He was on the DL for SF through July 25 for the neck issue. It's nothing serious, but it's enough for the M's to sit on.

If he overcompensates for the neck somehow, he may alter his delivery, even slightly, and put unnecessary stress on his elbow or shoulder.
