You Can Never Have Too Much Power

...and the Mariners certainly made themselves better in that department, at least for the short-term, as they've called up slugging infielder Justin Leone from Tacoma, with Bobby Madritsch going on the 15-day DL.

Barring an incredible little run, it's unlikely Leone will be around very long with Pineiro eligible to come back in a few days, but for a least a handful of games he'll be the best bat on the bench.

Nice to know that the organization hasn't forgotten about him. We certainly haven't.
