Boras spoke to the media and basically demanded 5 years for Millwood, and at least 55 million. Think the Mariners will go that far?

Quite a bit of variability...

in that list. As for comparing to Pedro, I think very few pitchers can ever be compared to Pedro. At least in his prime. Even now.

That wasn't Boras' point.

His point was: As Pedro was the best pitcher on the 2004/5 market, Millwood is the best on the 2005/6 market. Pedro left Boston when the Mets offered 'im the 4th year. Likewise, Millwood's going to take 5 years.
