H'cup...

Just cracked open a nice bottle of wine, and I'm rasin' the first glass to y'all here. Of course, I've already drunk 2/3 of it, but, what the hey...

First to Jeff, Trent and Devin -- for giving us lots of cool stuff to talk about 'round here. WE charts galore, Rainiers interviews, and SO MUCH MORE! Three cheers for makin' this a cool place to hang out.

Second, to all the other folks throwin' their comments in and rounding out the joint with some very different perspectives. Y'all are great fun to hang out here with!

And finally, third. To the Mariners, without whom I really wouldn't have much to talk about. Certainly there's hope that the M's will pull a decent 2006 out of their @55es. I'm not expecting it, but, well, anything's possible.

It's 9:04 Pacific time. It's now 2006 in Yankee land. Soon, it will be here, too. My first glass of Fort Rock Red (Maryhill winery) in honor of Lookout Landing!

Hey Jeff

this may be off-topic, but i've notice you don't have the Hardball Times as one of the baseball links on the right side. Considering how much we use some of thier stats (particularly FIP and xFIP), maybe we should get a link up there? Thanks, and a happy new year to all the guys at lookoutlanding!
